Who I Am

Hi everyone! My name is Aleesha Pinkham (she/her) and I am a Manchester, New Hampshire based photographer with a love for supporting local music and shooting photos and video.

Here is a little bit about me:

Originally from Boothbay Harbor, Maine I moved to Manchester 11 years ago because of the lack of career opportunities in my small home town. Manchester is my permanent home and I can’t imagine living anywhere else. Videography and photography have always been my number one passion, starting at a young age. I’ve always known since I was a little kid that I wanted to “do something with a camera" and here I am today. My main gig is and has always been video but I’ve decided to make photography a main part of my career as I also enjoy it immensely.

I graduated from a college I adore - New England School of Communications in Bangor, Maine (now Husson University) with a Bachelor’s of Science Technology with a concentration in Video Production.

After college I moved to Manchester where I was hired at an ABC news station, WMUR-TV, as a News Photographer where I stayed for 7 years. There my time was split between shooting investigative reports, daily news, and shooting for the show, NH Chronicle. Working for WMUR helped my shooting skills immensely as far as being detailed oriented and a fast and efficient shooter.

After WMUR I continued my video career at the Salem School District in Salem, NH as a producer for a local access education channel, where I currently work full time. There my roles include producing and highlighting events through video that happen across 7 schools. I also set up and run live events like concerts, assemblies, graduations, and anything and everything in between that the schools need me to do.

Aside from all the photo/video stuff, I am also in the band GIRLSPIT, with four of my best friends. We play Manchester/Concord and surrounding areas often. I play guitar.

If you see me out and about in the scene, whether with my band or shooting, come say hi!
